K2 U1 part number

WA4KBD
The K2 manual lists SA602 for U1 on the control board and the part number in my kit is SA612.  Is this IC OK to install?

Yep the NE602/SA602/SA612 are the same part as far as I know! 73 de

Actually the SA612 is a better part with better specs. Philips  
replaced the SA602 with it.
