K2 and KX1 Building Experience

k6dgw
For what it may be worth possibly to someone just beginning, I posted my
experiences building my K2 (#4398) and KX1 (#897) to my web site
<www.foothill.net/~andreaj/Ham4.htm>. Hope to work as many as possible
in Monday's Spartan Sprint.  This time, I'll be using a 9V battery for a
rig weight of about 0.77 lbs (I hope it will last 2 hours)

73,

Fred K6DGW

This is a page that I think everyone who is even contemplating building
one of these radios, should read first. They will have no doubt that it
is a great rig to build and use. I have the K2, K1 and the KX1. I only
built the KX1, but found it a wonderful experience. I take the KX1 with
me whenever I go anywhere overnight.
Nice job Fred!
