K2 audio out

Dan Grizzard
Hello all,
I have recently completed my K2 alignment and finished assembling the top cover and installing it.
I find I have very low audio from my speaker and must be within a foot or so to hear it. Both the front and rear
speaker jacks have plenty volume using earphones. Any suggestions?

Dan,
Check the wiring at the external speaker jack carefully.  If you mixed
up the ground and hot wires at that point, low or no speaker output is
the result.

To make a quick check to determine if that is the problem, remove the
top cover from the K2 (leaving the speaker connected) - if the speaker
volume is OK then but decreases when you mount the top cover, you have
the ext spkr jack wired incorrectly and are grounding the speaker output.
