It took me two and a half days to build my 2nd K2, about 30 hours total,
then some time spent doing the alignment and adjustment, then I built most
of the options in the next week.
The first K2 took about 40 hours, but I think they improved the manual over
time.
The building is VERY fun and addictive, I like to finish what I start, and
if single, would work 24 hours at a time.
The K2 works fantastic, but is a small and low button count radio.
I think Elecraft really needs to make a full size version of the K2 with
lots of knobs and better displays.
It would be a great rig to build and use in the shack, the k2 is just the
thing for portable and mobile operation.
