K2: firmware mix?

Hello guys,
is it possible to install a KAT2 with older  firmware 1.06  (actual is 1.07) into a new k2 with firmware 2.04? Are there any problems comming up?
Also i can get a KDSP2 with 3.0 (actual is 3.1). Where is the differece  ? I did'nt find any firmare revisison tables in the net or on the elecraft site.

Michael,

Yes, that KAT2 firmware will work fine in your K2 with 2.04/1.09
firmware/KIOC.

I am confused about the KSB2 - the latest KSB2 firmware is 1.08 which
added a 0.2 second delay for VOX, and 1.07 added support for the changes
in the KPA100 firmware.  That information is on the order page in the
box listing the KSB2 firmware upgrade.
