I'm offering up my QRP K2 for sale to readers of this list. A somewhat
difficult decision after all the enjoyment it has given me, both during
build and operation. But I now have a K1 for QRP, an IC-7000 for QRO and
need to start building up the coffers for a K3 near the end of the year.
K2 SN 5295 purchased in Jan 06 - only 17 months old with all of the latest
firmware and revisions. Installed options include the internal antenna
tuner, 160 meters with receive antenna port, noise blanker, KDSP2 DSP
filter/clock, and finger dimple. Built and aligned by a meticulous engineer
(me) using antistatic mat, temperature controlled ESD safe soldering irons
and Spectrogram. Built with "rework eliminators" for easy addition or
removal of options. Inside use only in a smoke-free environment, mint
condition. I've used it extensively for QRP CW contests such as 160 meters,
Sweepstakes and DX with outstanding results - never a problem since day 1.
Over 90 countries worked with stealth antennas during dregs of sunspot
cycle. All-in-all a lean, mean CW machine!
Cost of new kits $1161. Asking $800 which includes all documentation and
manuals, secure packaging and insured ground UPS delivery to your lower 48
USA QTH. Payment via PayPal. If interested, please contact me directly via
Email.
