K2: need 1.05 or newer firmware chip

I recently picked up a classic K2. (S/N 152) In order to install the
KAT2 I just purchased in this K2, I need an updated firmware chip (but
not
necessarily the most current one). Someone out there may have version
1.05 which would do what I need to use the KAT2. Does anyone have
such?

My use of the K2 will be strictly field use so accessories or options
other than its ssb module is just extra weight.

I am sure I have what you need, but I'll have to check when I get home from work.  My chip came out of a unit in the s/n 3000's range.  I will get back to you.

I apparently have found suitable firmware chips just down the road a
mile at KB8AP!
I should have thought to ask Joe first.
