K2 no power out

Earl Ritchie-3

        Hi;
I have K2 ser. # 5621 and the KPA 100  which was working perfectly.
Now when I push the ptt switch on the mike, I get no indication of output either in high power or low power.
The ammeter on the p/s does not move.
Does someone have an idea where to check?

Earl, VE3VI

Re: K2 no power out

Earl,

It could be the microphone, or it could be wiring, or it could be the
K2.  What happens if you go to CW mode and close the mic PTT button?
Does it transmit?
