K2 power control

Richard Kent
Another listers power control problem makes me think. I have just finished
my K2 (#5296). I noticed that when set the power control to 2.0W I measured
1.7 to 2.2 on an external wattmeter. This level changed each keying of the
transmitter but stayed between these readings. Is this normal? My output
readings follow the knob setting +or- a small amount. My readings were not
as varied as the other builder's radio. Do I need to look into this
further???

My experience is the same as yours.  I assumed that it was normal,
I'm now watching for other comments.
