I just got done putting the kat and the kpa in the ec2 case.
It seems very nice that way, carry the k2 into the shack, hook up the
antenna cable, the control cable, and power to the K2 and I am ready for 100
watt operation with the auto tuner.
Disconnect the three cables and carry the K2 into the den and listen to 160
to 10 meters while the wife watches TV.
No screws, no removing the top of the K2.
I don't see why you would ever need to open the K2 with it set up this way.
I just finished the 160 meter and noise blanker options, 160 meters seems
real nice, and my alpha delta dx-lb-plus seems to work well there, despite
it being very short for a 160 meter antenna.
