K2 sn 2615: PLL freq. stability

Happy new year all!
I am looking at the PLL Frequency Stability at 7182
kHz sheet which says "Alternately insert the internal
counter probe into TP1 (VCO) and TP3 (PLL reference
oscillator) and make sure they indicate the same
frequency (in the 12 mHz range)."
Here are my frequencies:
TP1: 12092.59
TP3: 12097.64

That is a differenct of 5.05.
Is this okay, or do I have a problem?
If it is a problem, what should I do about it?

I already recalibrated C22 on the control board and
ran the VFO linearization.

Vron,

I believe you are misreading the instruction.  The point where the VCO and
PLL cross the same frequency is the point you are looking for, it will be
somewhere near 7182kHz.

So adjust the VCO until the frequencies at TP1 and TP3 are the same and then
observe the frequency on the K2 display - this is the crossover frequency
for your particular K2.

If I may make a suggestion - make all the changes that are listed whether or
not you observe a problem.  I have done that on all upgrades that I have
performed and have yet to find a problem with it.  Of course, if you want to
minimize the components changed, do as the instructions suggest and stop
when you have eliminated the problem.
