K2 troubleshooting

John Wiener
Hi everyone,

Hope Memorial Day is fun (and meaningful) for all.

I am rechecking T4.  Leads 1 & 2 are Green hookup wire in 2 turns on
the binocular core, leads 3 & 4 are white in 3 turns.
I think I have wound it correctly...it looks the same as the diagrams
in Figures 6-28 and 6-29.

Just to be sure I understand, would one turn be a simple "U" through
the core?  And 2 turns equals two wires (as it were) within each
tunnel in the core?  Then, 3 turns would be three wires (as it were)
on each tunnel in the core.

Do I have this correct?

Thanks,

John

John,

Yes, you have it correct.  Each pass of the wire through both holes is one
turn.
Note for the near future - when you put in the 'links', these bare wires go
only through one hole of the binocular core.
