K2DSP Real time clock issue

I just completed the kit & the DSP portion works great, but when I go to the real time clock, the display shows EE-EE-EE. I checked the voltage of the battery & insured it was installed correctly. Any ideas?

It helps to read & follow the manual.....dah.... Everything is Ok now with
the clock
