K3 #0215 - d/l probs again.

Hi Dick, and the Group.
I'm beginning to feel incompetent!!

Just tried loading the new firmware into my K3.
Much the same problem as my initial d/l.
All goes well right upto the 'Loaded DSP1 f/w version 01.52. Radio
responded with Version 00.00' point, and the K3 display shows E000202
err dse.

I re-loaded, & re-installed new USB/Serial Drivers from the Prolific site.
I re-loaded & re-installed the K3Util.
Same Result.

I tried Restore Config.
Same result.

I tried a Forced Firmware download, as on page 42 of the manual.
Same Result.

Comms test from K3UTIL to K3 are OK.


In all cases, clearing the E000202 msg from the K3 display brings back
the current frequency readout on VFO A, but VFO B continues to show ERR DS2.


Any Suggestions?
