K3/10 CW on USB

Thank you all for your responses regarding my post for calling CQ on
PSK31. I have another question.

My K3/10 will not transmit CW using the paddle on USB.
However..........it will transmit using FL-Digi and the
keyboard........................Is this by design or am I missing a
setting. Tnx.

Your paddle only works in CW mode if you are using the keyer in the K3.

Not so.

CONFIG: CW WGHT - Tap 1 for SSB +CW  Allows CW in SSB mode using the
internal keyer.
