Hi All,
A week after CQWW SSB contest,in which my K3/100 s/n-282 performed
well,I noticed a gradual loss of TX power.
Not able to put out more than 50w. Antenna is 3el Steppir.
No hearing loss observed as far as I can make out.
Did a Cal-Txg routine via K3-utility.Failed in both 5w and 50w.
Did eenit,recalibrated and reloaded parameters.
Still throws up err-txg.
Now I can still put from 25w to 50w,power varies band to band.
Meanwhile,I have re-racked the LPA board during which KPA3 also
got re-racked.Measured pin to pin and pin to ground,Q2,Q4 and Q5
of LPA board.Have sent a mail to *support and a dialogue has begun*
to resolve the issue.Will have to wait out the weekend.
Feed-back from previously,similarly affected will be appreciated.
I have trawled the list,problem is not new but the list goes only
so far.
