K3/100 3896 Alive and Well

Jim Cox
# 3896 Completed and tested Saturday.  Working great, thanks Elecraft for such an impressive radio.
One question though, what are the 3 holes on the side panel with the handle used for?  They aren't on my older K3, perhaps for the new 2 meter module?

The holes in the left side panel are used to mount the K144XV 2 meter
module.

There are extra screws and nuts in the kit to plug these holes if you do
not have the K144XV.
