It would be nice to see N connectors in a radio of this class. If BNC is fine
for the basic K2, why go to SO239 instead of an N socket for the 100w version ? OK everyone has them, but PL259s are a pain to install. _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Not all will agree - I know many hams who will use nothing other than
UHF connectors, and I have heard many others comment that BNC's *must* be changed to SO239 jacks. While I believe you are correct, I think it would alienate many buyers to have type N connectors. Besides, UHF connectors are good up through 6 meters, and at times even through 2 meters. When the rest of the world learns that N connectors are easier to install than PL259s, things may change, but for now, much of the ham world believes that PL259s are easier. 73, Don W3FPR JACrux wrote: > It would be nice to see N connectors in a radio of this class. I would prefer the BNC. Quick, good and easy.
What else do you want?
