You mean 13 KHz and 6 KHz, anyway, looks good. That's how mine are.

Hello, Brian.
Install the Elecraft K3 Utility, it's available at http://www.elecraft.com/K3/k3_software.htm#k3util Start the K3 Utility. Navigate to the "Configuration" tab. Click "Configure Crystal Filters". Click "Help" at the lower right corner. Follow the instructions in Help. You might also want to review the section of the K3 Owner's Manual available at http://www.elecraft.com/K2_Manual_Download_Page.htm#K3, see page 46. 73 de Dick, K6KR -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Brian North Sent: Monday, March 25, 2013 5:03 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: [Elecraft] K3-100 Hello, my first question on the site! Brian:
Slot 1: 13 kHz, not 1300 kHz. You should enable this for receive for all modes. This is your Tx FM filter. Slot 2: 6 kHz, not 600 kHz. You should enable this for receive for all modes except perhaps FM. This should be your Tx AM filter. Slot 3. 2.7 kHz. I would enable this for receive for all modes including AM, but not FM. This should be your Tx SSB and Tx CW filter. Slot 5: 500 Hz: I would enable this for CW, USB, LSB, and Data, but not AM or FM. I believe Dick did not state explicitly, the 2.7 kHz filter must be
enabled for transmit on DATA modes too. See the Filter Installation section in Appendix A of the manual - especially the information below the filter images on page 78. Any filter can be enabled for receive, but some do not make much sense, particularly for the 500 Hz filter. 73, Don W3FPR On 3/25/2013 8:56 AM, Dick Dievendorff wrote: > Brian: > > Slot 1: 13 kHz, not 1300 kHz.
