This is how you use the two tone oscillator:
1. Select mode LSB (it only works on LSB)
2. Enable two tone in the menu
3. Momentarily press the XMIT button
The K3 will now be transmitting two tones on LSB, by altering the front
panel mic level control (MIC) you set the level of tone 1 relative to
tone 2. The power level control (PWR) sets the overall power output. If
you press and hold the XMIT/TUNE button you get the normal single tone
"tune" output. The compression (CMP) control appears to have no effect
and I wouldn't expect it to.

Can anyone with a K3 tell me if its possible to tune
the transmitter with the 2 tone oscillator?
Can you select either one of the 2 tones, set its
balance and level?
How is the 2 tones injected into the transmitter path,
and does it disconnect the Mic and turn the processor
off when you turn it on?
If you turn on the 2 tone feature and you then hit
the tune button in the SSB mode does it inject 2 tones
or is the tune button only for CW carrier?
There is not a lot of detail in the owners manual
about its use.
