K3 - 2 x Ant sockets without the ATU?

VK4XA
G'day everyone,
I will soon be the owner of a K3 and I was looking through the options yesterday and a thought struck me.
"I can't have 2 x antenna sockets without getting the ATU."
As I will be using the K3 at home with only resonant antennas I don't really need the ATU. (And it adds unnecessary cost too)
But, I do need / want the two antenna sockets. (one for HF, one for 6M)
Has the option to have 2 x antenna sockets WITHOUT the ATU been discussed previously?
Is there any possibility of it being implemented?

Thanks in advance,

Jeff Cochrane - VK4BOF

(But not for much longer!)

Jeff,

That was on my wish list a couple years ago because I have the same all
resonant antenna situation here.  I don't know what has become of that
request (I never did get a "yes" on it).  In the meantime, I solved my
problem with an external relay box to control my 3 HF feedlines plus the
6 meter feedline to both the K3 and my Yaesu FT847.  It is some complex
switching, but includes connecting both transceivers to a dummy load
when not in use.  Such a switching arrangement could be driven by the K3
band data outputs, but I chose to use manual switches for control - it
gives me more knobs and lights in my hamshack to impress visitors. :-)
