Is there a K144XV shematic in the line? 73 Jan |
Hi Jan
Does this schematic update include all the DSP upgrades? Why I ask is that I want to go get them professionally printed and laminated onto cardboard. Its expensive to do this, so I want to be sure this will be the final schematic for a while. I hate reading circuit diagrams on screen. Any chance of getting the old one archived out there? I didn't look too
terribly hard in the FTP server for it... But it would be nice to be able to compare and see how the enhanced mic audio and what not are done as the series 1uF caps from W9AC are still in place... I notice that there are some stars of some "recent changes" and some notes of whats on different revisions but barring that on the DSP board having a history would be nice. ~BTH On Thu, 2010-01-14 at 07:15 -0800, Lyle Johnson wrote: > > Does this schematic update include all the DSP upgrades? > > > > Yes. Appreciate your time pointing me there. I work in this stuff all day and
sometimes I just get lazy. At least I was willing to admit I was such. ;) Again thank you sir. ~Brett (KC7OTG) On Jan 15, 2010 12:15 AM, "David Pratt" <[hidden email]> wrote: In a recent message, Brett Howard <[hidden email]> wrote ... > > > Any chance of getting the old one archived out there? D of the Main DSP Board, mic coupling cap C28 was increased from 0.1 uF to 1 uF. On the alternate mic path, R24 and R26 were scaled from 1K to 10K while keeping C36/C37 at 1 uF. A 10x scaling increase in series resistance has the same net effect on the low-frequency turnover point as does a 10x increase in series capacitance. Line In was affected the same way with an increase at R18/R20 from 1K to 10K while keeping 1uF of series capacitance. The 10K + 1uF combination is good for keeping circuit Z and low-end audio response reasonable while minimizing SMT parts size and cost.
