Good idea but be aware you forego diversity reception
unless you find a way to lock both to the same reference (either
external or both to one of the internal references). You could
come close to the same frequency with careful calibration of
the two VFOs but they would still not be phase-locked.
Solution: Order one with KRX3 and another without, which
is what I did. One without will be for SO2R, expeditions, QRP
portable, etc and the other with KRX3 will be the main shack rig.
