My K3/10 #3212 is completed. No options were ordered or installed.
Only the 2.7khz filter is installed. I have a couples of issues. I have done all the test and calibrations on page 65 on the assembly manual. TWICE. #1 I do not seem to have power out using SSB even though the W1 Meter says I do. #2 It would seem that the "AF control" in k3/10 #3212 for the main RX (no sub RX) is non functional. Turning the knob has no effect. The "HI" / "LO" settings in the CONFIG menu does function. In fact the audio will disappear totally sometimes and the knob must be "wiggled" to get it back. The RF control works just find in controlling the volume levels. Any help will be very much appreciated 72 RC kc5wa -- 72 de RC KC5WA <http://www.kc5wa.net> ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

If the setscrew in the knob was tightened too tight the knob will be cracked and won't rotate the shaft. I had the same problem on my factory built #806.
