Copying station on 20m CW with the preamp on and the thr above 8 there
is a very noticable distortion to the signals. SLP does not seem to change this. One of the issues is that my powered headphones were turned off. When
on the disagreeable sounds are less but still there much lower. Curious! Have you tried listening with a different set of headphones altogether before blaming the distortion on the software?
