Just finished the basic setup and calibrations, no tweaks.
Bare bones QRP K3 #4123 is now alive and well,
made it's 12w SSB debut on 80m this afternoon,
with compliments all around,
from the guys that normally hear me running 400w.
Haven't even tried setting the tx audio up yet,
just plugged in an old D-104 and keyed it up.
(only thing in the shack that had the right mike plug on it)
Construction times.... (not counting prayers)
about 1 hour of inventorying
about 5.5 hrs of actual assemble (spread over 2 days).
30 minutes or so of calibrations.
Praise the lord and pass the sunspots.
Thanks Elecraft guys and gals for an awesome piece of equipment.
Last time I was this blown away. was my 1st Drake TR-7. ;-)
