K3: 60 metres - modes

I am a bit puzzled by the reference on page 36 of the Owner's Manual
which states that "USB is the only mode allowed on this band" when
referring to the U.S. 60-metre channel assignments.

Would someone please confirm that the K3 will in fact operate on other
modes on 60 metres?  Other than in the U.S. there is a preference to use
CW and data modes as each of the seven channels are only 3kHz wide.

The K3 will operate on all modes on 60 meters. In the US we're limited
to USB.
