K3 #80 fully QRV on QRP!

Dave, G4AON
Number 80 went together without too much trouble. Around 5 hours for the
basic build (w/o 100 W PA). There were a couple of issues:

1. Two of the plastic LCD cover bolts were too long. Will request a
couple from support once I've added the PA, just in case something else
is in error.
2. Mating the front panel/DSP to the main RF board is tricky, helps to
take a tea break and try again in 10 minutes.
3. I couldn't get the rig to recognise there was an ATU fitted, until I
powered off and back on again. Not sure if that is a bug or how it is...

Will try a QSO or two in the morning, band conditions here at 23:42
local are pretty flat.

Be sure you didn't use two of the short 2-56 screws where the longer ones go
for the VFO plate.

Sometimes screws in the 2-D connector on the left front corner of the RF
board need to be temporarily removed for the FP assembly to mate easily, but
a tea break probably works good too.

It's part of the instructions.  ;>)

Congrats & Enjoy,
