What did Elecraft do to the radio at the factory Charly? Was it an early K3 that never had the < 400 serial number hardware upgrade - or something else?

My K3 is back from factory and the AGC now works
better at handling pile ups where many callers formerly
were reduced to the same audio level. Now, it is
easier to pick out calls among many callers. Not
absolutely great, but better.
Can anyone recommend the best menu setting for
max discrimination among many callers at same time?
