When I transmit on AM, the carrier level increases on each modulation peak. The carrier power starts out at 30 watts and increases up to about 80 watts over a period of several transmissions. By that time the modulation becomes distorted.
All I have to do to reset it is start to adjust the power adjustment and the power drops back to 30 watts.
I also have the same problem where after I hit the TUNE button, the AM carrier level goes to 80 watts until I touch the power control.
I have tried all versions from V2.22 to V2.67 with no difference.
Has anyone else experienced this?
