K3 + Ameritron AL-811

K6LRG will be operating my K3 with an AL-811 provided by AF6JG for the SB SS. Has anyone used this combination that can provide some recomendations for setup and configuration or cautions that I should be aware of?

I have been operation the K3 with a AL-811H. No problems at all. Just
connect the key out to the key in RCA cable. Keep the K3's power down around
70 - 80 watts.

I have had that setup for about 3 weeks now.  Works great.  Only
connections I have is the Key Out connected to the amp.  Tx from the
rig to RF In on the amp.  I set the Tx Delay for 20 mS.  I originally
had this set for 15 mS, but on SSB the mic for the K3 was picking up
the relay kicking in.  So I changed it to 20 ms and has been working
FB.  Been breaking pileups left and right.  Not to mention running
during CW SS.  The combination works great.  Can you tell I am pleased?
