Good Morning All,
Just received K3 Serial 2765 yesterday afternoon. In looking at the Audio I/O board chokes L3, L5 and L8 are still in place and not jumpered. L7 (Mic ground choke has been removed). On the Remote I/O module L1 (RS232 ground return) is still in place. Do I still need to install the jumpers around these chokes per the Application Note? Or are these changes optional? Thanks, Bob W6VY ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Robert, when I got to the part concerning the chokes I was told if you are
not having a problem leave as is, so I did (I did add the jumper to mic ....same with sense mod (However I did the sense mod anyway). 73 de KE4WY Jim -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Robert Dorchuck Sent: Friday, February 27, 2009 9:50 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: [Elecraft] K3 Audio and Remote I/O Module Chokes Good Morning All, Just received K3 Serial 2765 yesterday afternoon. Bob: Suggest that you refer this question to Elecraft Support. Based on
the S/N they should be able to tell you if the mods have been done or not. 73, Doug VE3MV K3/100, S/N 2432 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Dorchuck" <[hidden email]> To: <[hidden email]> Sent: Friday, February 27, 2009 9:50 AM Subject: [Elecraft] K3 Audio and Remote I/O Module Chokes > Good Morning All, > > Just received K3 Serial 2765 yesterday afternoon. > In looking at the Audio I/O board chokes L3, L5 and L8 > are still in place and not jumpered.
