K3 BFO Offset

K8RDD
Does anyone know if it is possible to change the usb/lsb "bfo offset"? I understand that all is done in firmware so there is no product detector, but I have noticed a difference between usb/lsb phone modes.

If I understand you correctly Randy all you need to do
is press the SPOT/PITCH button until the display shows
your offset and you hear the tone.  Then turn the main
tuning knob until you like what you hear.  Then press
the SPOT button and you have it!

See the filter offset thread.

The USB and LSB passbands produced by the digital filters should be
exact mirror images of each other around the carrier frequency, so any
difference has to be introduced by the roofing filter, or, less likely,
by any LC filters in the chain.
