[K3] Changing COM ports crashes latest K3 utility

Version 1.4.4.25 of the K3 Utility crashes on my Win 7 machine if I try to change the COM port on the Port tab.  I get the usual "The K3 Utility has stopped working" message from the OS.

Version 1.3.10.21 (the only other version I could find on my machine) works just fine.  The K3 Memory Editor also works just fine.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

I see similar behavior on my Win XP Pro machine when attempting to select
some (but not all) invalid COM ports. I've never seen it happen when
selecting a valid port, that is, one that has a K3 connected. Although it's
annoying, I doubt there is much that can be done about it. Serial ports are
black magic.
