Just a simple channel hopping feature such as Kenwood offer on TS-870/850/690/680/450/440 etc, simple yet effective and functional, no button pushing multiple times or menu manipulation would be a vast improvement on what the K3 can do for all it's whiz bang gadgetry.....

And you can tune off the memory with VFO A. While in the memory mode: Tune more than 1KHz and it goes out of memory mode and stays on the frequency on the display. Or The K3 stays in memory mode until you tap M>V again to leave memory mode and stays on the frequency on the display. It's the list of 'little things' that we were accustomed to on a radio that are somewhat frustrating when things don't work the way we expect them to work! 73 Hank K8DD ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
I like this idea - I'd like it to stay in 'memory mode' no matter how
far of we tune with VFO A, but tuning VFO B goes to the next memmory, regardless of where VFO A is. 73 de M0XDF, K3 #174 -- Ok, so what's the speed of Dark?
