I'm sure that Wayne/Lyle are not looking for additions to the "wish-list" at this late stage, however.....my dear old TS850 has the ability to scan or frequency-hop across a number of channels on all bands. I find this a very useful feature when I am in my shack working on something else as I can keep an ear on all the HF bands to see if there is any activity. The TS-850 is set to hop from 1830 to 3525 to 7025 to 10120 to 14025 and so on. The K3 can only hop between channels in the same band. Anyone else find this a useful feature?

Hi Tom
The next beta version due to be released soon, does have a similar feature to that found in your old 850. Unfortunately the K3 doesn't have a V/M button like most radios (such as yours and my TS-480SAT), so it will still require the memory contents saving to VFO before you can transmit. 73 Dave, G4AON K3/100 #80 ---------------- I'm sure that Wayne/Lyle are not looking for additions to the "wish-list" at this late stage, however.....my dear old TS850 has the ability to scan or frequency-hop across a number of channels on all bands. Wayne told me that the channel hopping memories will soon load all the attributes so you will be able to transmit from them without an extra step. The regular memories already (in the latest beta) support "live" reception and will switch bands as appropriate. However I would have thought the clicking of relays as the radio switches from band to band would discourage anyone from actually scanning a set of memories in different bands.
