K3 - Cockpit erro

nf8j
Yesterday, when fooling around in the Config:Menu, and experimenting with the TX-EQ, I must have hit some buttons by mistake. My CW memories, set up in the Elecraft Utility, no longer work as before. Now the TX EQl info shows up when I push on the the M1-M4 message buttons... Can someone tell me how to clear the preferences that I seem to have set up inadvertantly. Do I have to do some sort of soft reset ?? I can not find the information in the manual. Running 3.11 firmware, K3 is serial no. 758...
The CW memories in the Utility have not changed, they just will not run.

Hi Paul,

I ran into the same situation for the first time last weekend.  You
probably hit one of the M1 - M4 buttons while the TX EQ config item
with active.  To restore your CW memories, tap REC, then tap the
memory switch you want to restore (M1 - M4), then tap REC again.

This is explained at the bottom of page 21 in the Owners Manual (rev
D4) in the section titled "Programmable Functions".
