K3 Configuration Questions

Bill W4ZV
1.  Is the RX antenna input for 160-6m a standard
part of the K3 or is a KXV3 also required?

2.  Is a KAT3 required for a 2nd TX antenna input?

3.  Can both synthesizers be phase-locked or
not?  Asked before...Lyle's response inconclusive.

4.  Asked before but IMD performance data is
needed for the various CW filter options.

5.  Are there any options that must be installed
simultaneously or can all be added later?

                        73,  Bill  W4ZV

The RX in and RX Out jacks are part of the KXV3 option.

The KAT3 has two antenna jacks.  The K3 without a KAT3 has one.

Options can be added in any order.  Options that must be combined are
usually supplied combined.  For example, the subreceiver option includes
the subreceiver itself, as well as a second DSP board.  These two items
are only available as a single option.
