Dave,

This is going to be such a treat. If you don't like it
better than your OMNI V, I'll eat my hat. Also, you
will have it for a good part of the month of February
which will provide some very good conditions to
evaluate it under.

I'm always hesitant to do a direct A/B switch
comparison any radio, much less my primary HF. But K3
has come on the scene and even at this early stage in
it's development it shines against most anything.

FYI

Ordered May15, 2007 without deposit.

Left Aptos Monday afternoon bound for Boston via 3-Day
UPS arriving here
on Thursday.

Been a looooong wait but it appears to be well worth
it.  (BTW let's see
a few more user reviews on e-ham.)
