K3 Default width and shift

How to change DEFAULT Bandwidth Shift and width
when I turn on my K3 -  it always defaults  to setting that I
was NOT using when I turned the Radio off -
can I change DEFAULT settings of   SHIFT and WIDTH ???
How is that done?
