[K3] Ease of installing modules at a later date

Jim Low man
I think I may have asked before about the need to match the filters in
the sub-receiver with the main receiver, so please forgive the redundancy.

Slightly different question:  How difficult is it to install the
general-coverage bandpass filter and second receiver after the K3 is
assembled?

I was going to order the sub-receiver and the appropriate filters, but
decided to put that on the back burner until I get more comfortable with
operating the K3.
However, I am considering the bandpass filter so that I will have
general coverage.

Any advice appreciated,

First, you have to get your K3 out of it's normal resting place, and
disconnect all the wires.  Then, when done with the work, you have to
get it back in its normal resting place and *correctly* reconnect all
those wires.  The work on the K3 itself, for me, has been miniscule
compared to that.  Looking behind my radio shelf, I'm still pondering
why they call this "wireless."
