[K3] Error Msg C00000202 DSE/DS2

Good Evening,

I've been attempting to update to the latest firmware to K3 SN 3497, but i am continually getting the subject error msg.  I have the latest utility (for the Mac) and have tried removing the files re-downloading, then reloading the DSP software, but I am getting nowhere.  I'm now on my 4th attempt at downloading.  Any suggestions?

Well, still stumped --- and error messages I get are E 0000202, then E000A0A, with the text ERR DSE. I'm using the latest utility for the mac, and the elecraft serial to usb cable....this is the first time i've had an issue with downloading software in over 3 years. . . .

I'm sure it's something simple and something I've done (or not done) . .

Tom,

Try the following:
1) download new firmware files from Elecraft
2) Load only the DSP firmware to the K3
3) once the DSP firmware has been loaded, then load the MCU and FP firmware.

I suggest this order because there may have been some changes in the MCU
code that depend on a response from the DSP code, but the updated DSP
code has not yet been loaded.
No guarantees, but it is worth a try.

If that does not cure it, contact support.
