K3: "FREQ" instead of banner

Hi All--

A strangeness:  on a couple of occasions, when turning on my K3 (FW
3.14) instead of the banner that I programmed with the K3 Utility, the
word "FREQ" appears in the VFO position.  The only way I've been able to
remove it from the display is to turn off the radio and turn it back on
again.

Anyone else seen this?

I don't recall ever seeing that come up with 3.14

Try reinstalling the firmware.  Or better yet, update it to the latest
release.

Just loaded 3.19 and will see if there's any change in behavior.  This
is not a major nuisance...it's only happened three times, but it may
point to an unruly vector or corrupt code.
