K3 FW Update - Error 12163

Here's piece of information for anyone who runs into this problem (new one
to me).

In trying to do a FW update tonight using the K3 Utility, I repeatedly got a
"Computer disconnected from network.  Error 12163" notice.  A couple of
minutes on Google revealed that, for reasons that are beyond me, my Internet
Explorer had decided to set itself to Work Offline.  Using Tools/Work Online
on the Command Bar fixed it.

Dear All,

I have a Heil Classic microphone with the HC-4 and HC-5 elements which I
would like to use with my K3. The question is which Heil adapter to use. I
see no references to K3 on the Heil homepage (maybe I missed something).

My guess is that I should order the Kenwood adapter. Am I right?

Yep the Kenwood adapter can plug right into the front port.  On Thu,
