K3 Field Day Feature Request

Michael Eberle
For a K3 used during Field Day, the power, compression, and mic gain can
be locked by pressing 1 from the PWR SET menu.  I was wondering if there
is a way to lock the antenna selection on radios which have the KAT2
installed?  If not maybe this could be added to a future firmware update
by pressing 2 from the  PWR SET menu.  My concern is that a FD operator
may accidentally press the ANT button when they meant to press ATU TUNE
and switch to the unused antenna port.  This may cause half an hour or
more of trying to troubleshoot the antenna.

Thanks,
Mike - KI0HA

Mike,

I always put a dummy load on the unused antenna connector for that very
reason.  Adds a margin of safety for FD and demo events.
