Hi all,
In MCU revision 1.77, SPOT wasn't working within the REF CAL menu entry. Sorry about that! Revision 1.78 corrects this and is now available. 73, Wayne N6KR --- http://www.elecraft.com _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. It was unfortunate timing, as I had just rewritten a big chunk of code in preparation for additional subreceiver functionality. That's always a risky time for a firmware project. Coincidentally, we're working on a "regression test" program for the K3 that will automate firmware testing prior to each release. It's a complex effort, but we have a very capable PC application engineer working on it -- he's also the author of K3 Utility. The program will verify virtually every switch and menu function, check for proper operation in all modes, and ensure that TX and RX are functional on all bands. I'm really looking forward to being able to click a button in the test program and let it do its thing while I work on *new* stuff :) 73, Wayne N6KR --- http://www.elecraft.com _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. I'm sure you would have NO PROBLEM recruiting regression testers, since
the test kit includes a K3.... :-) I volunteer... OK, so I'm early for the first of April, all the buried antenna thread has got my reality tweaked... I actually worked on a project which did some buried antenna research, and resulted in several installed military versions and a line of on-the-ground HF broadband antenna's. its good stuff if your link plan can tolerate -9 ~ -4dbi. You can get some decent FB out of two wires on the ground though... Niel wayne burdick wrote: > S Sacco wrote: > >> Hi Wayne - >> >> Any chance for more thorough testing.... > > Hi Steve, > > Yes.
