K3 Firmware - help!

Nick G3RWF
After no previous trouble, I  had slight problem since installing 1.96/1.73 - when first switched on, tuning seemed to cause disconnection of all signals - no problem after a few seconds.
Now - have just lost everything - stuck on one band, no signals, buttons do not work for their assigned purpose and can't get access to menu. Presume I need to reload firmware - how do I go about that please? Thanks.

G'morning Nick:
First, get out your Owner's Manual. Then look for section on Firmware
Upgrades (somewhere around page 40 or so) and you will find out how to
force a firmware download.

Nick:

1) Install the most recent version (1.1.6.3) of the K3 Utility from the
Elecraft web site's K3 software page.
2) Start the K3 Utility, and navigate to the Firmware Tab.
3) Click the "Send All Firmware to K3" button.  This is a new button
introduced in the latest version of the K3 Utility.
If this button isn't visible, use the View menu to remove the checkbox next
to "Advanced Mode".
