K3 - Generating RTTY

Tedd Wong
I know that the K3 can output RTTY from CW generated from a set of paddles via the built-in keyer.  But can it work with a CW keyboard (e.g. K1EL K40) which would key the K3’s “key” jack?  Page 32 in the manual only mentions paddles and the internal keyer.  I’m searching for a cheaper non-computer RTTY solution than using a Microkeyer which can output FSK into the K3 with a keyboard connected directly to the Microkeyer.

As of right now this is not possible.  But it is on the list for a future feature
enhancement.
