K3 - IF out

Next stupid question,

What is the output level of the IF out on the transverter?
Do I have to turn on something to get it to activate?

I am trying to connect a K3 Softrock V6.2 to use as a panadapter and cannot see any output on my scope (techtronics 475) from the IF output connector on the K3.
