K3 Instant-split macro

Gary Hinson
Hi all.

I'm having fun configuring my instant-split function, and an undo, to
my personal liking, feeding off ideas from others on this reflector
and trying them out via the K3 Utility.  It works well but the really
cool part is that we can each have our own settings without pestering
the Elecrafty wizzards to death, or "voting", or waging flame wars
here to define the perfect split function by committee.  Fabulous!

Would it be possible for us to replace the standard SPLIT function
(accessible by a long hold on A>B) with our own custom split function,
please?  The command to enter split mode within the macro would of
course still need to call the default split function not re-start the
macro (!), but this way we would not need to remember which macro key
we had reassigned for split as it is conveniently already labelled.

You were thinking maybe this was a coincidence...?  :)
